Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is set to visit Singapore on Thursday (July 4).
The 34-year-old Portuguese will likely visit two schools that day to support the Singapore Olympic Foundation-Peter Lim Scholarship.
He is expected to be here till Friday.
Earlier, he was expected to visit Our Tampines Hub, a community-mall in the eastern part of the island.
Ronaldo is one of the best footballers in modern history.
He has amassed five Ballon d’Ors, and has edged fellow great Lionel Messi in terms of international trophies won.
This is not the Juventus forward’s first trip to Singapore.
In 2013, Singapore billionaire Peter Lim flew the superstar here as a marquee guest for his Singapore Olympic Foundation-Peter Lim Scholarship initiative.
Then, he also visited Crest Secondary.
In 2017, he made a pit stop here to visit Lim’s daughter Kim, who had given birth to a boy.
Ronaldo is expected to return to the island later this month, when Juventus take on English club Tottenham in a International Champions Cup matchup at the National Stadium.
