Thailand have announced a 23-member squad that will represent the nation at the 2020 AFC U-23 Championship Qualifiers scheduled to being on March 22.
Thailand’s youth team will travel to Vietnam where they are pitted along with the hosts, Indonesia and Brunei in Group K of the continental championship qualification tournament.
Thailand have already qualified for the tournament proper to be held in January 2020 as the hosts, but their coach Alexandre Gama will be looking to give his players a good run out as they prepare for the main event.
Thailand open their campaign against Indonesia on March 22 followed by games against Brunei and Vietnam on March 24 and 26 respectively. All matches are to be played at the My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi.
Six players from the Thailand U-22 squad the finished as runners-up in the 2019 AFF U-22 Championship to Indonesia are part of the squad.
